The Founder of Asia Fighting Championship Sasidharan Unnithan Talented and driven by his dream and aspiration of succeeding in all constituents of life, Sasidharan has been involved in the fitness, sports and health industry for over 22-years. Having started his career as an educator upon completion of his scholarship in Sports Science with the Edith Cowan University in Perth, Sasidharan has been engaged by some of the most leading and reputable organizations in the international market such as – California Fitness, Fight Zone, and MUSE Fitness to name a few. Through his international experience and extensive knowledge in business administration, entrepreneurship and leadership which took him through a journey between Malaysia, Singapore and Hong Kong, Sasidharan has now returned home and is pursuing three new Singapore – brands ; Muse Fitness Singapore, Fight-Zone, and Asia Fighting Championship – being his main focus out of all. Asia Fighting Championship aims to unite different nations through a provision of a professional platform for the showcase of the talent in the sport of Muay Thai world-wide. As a team, we aim to make the Asia Fighting Championship a globally recognized component of the sports world today, united in our dream of ‘beautifying the Art of Thai Boxing’ and going regional. Ltd. – Sasidharan Unnithan Partners World Muay Thai Council One of the oldest and largest professional sanctioning organisations of Muaythai in the world for the sport, set up in 1995 by the parliament resolution and is incorporated by the Royal Thai Government and sanctioned by the Sports Authority of Thailand, under the Ministry of Tourism and Sports (Thailand). WMC works closely together with the highest sports authorities of all member countries around the world to regulate all aspects of the art and sport of Muay Thai. The inauguration meeting was held in 1995 at an appropriate venue, the United Nation Conference Center with representatives from 39 countries attended. Presently there are 120 member countries registered with the WMC. On August 20th, 2014, Muaythai and the World Muay Thai Council received official Royal Patronage from His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej of Thailand. All government departments, sport and culture ministries, sport authorities, and all major Muaythai stadiums and promoters were invited to the historic event, alongside representatives from the United Nations among many other organisations.
